Wagerbreaker collects nothing. There is no account, no server and no analytics. Everything you type stays on your phone.
What stays on your device
The app stores what you enter in your iPhone’s own private app storage: your first name, the risk windows you name, the amount a typical bet costs you, the interrupt and tradition you pick, the name and phone number of the person you would call, the people you listed as reasons, your streak, and any bet you log. None of it is transmitted anywhere. We cannot read it, recover it or delete it for you, because we never receive it.
What we collect
Nothing. Wagerbreaker has no sign-in, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. The app makes no network requests of its own. It does not track you across other apps or websites.
Your phone’s permissions
- Notifications. Used only to remind you fifteen minutes before a window you named yourself. The reminders are scheduled by the app on your device, not sent from a server, and they work with the phone offline.
- Placing a call. Tapping the button to call your person hands the number to your phone’s dialer. The number is never uploaded, and we do not learn whether you called. Wagerbreaker does not read your contacts.
The app does not use location, the camera, the microphone, photos, HealthKit or Bluetooth. Your risk windows are the times you entered, never times inferred from where you are.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app from your phone deletes everything the app stored. There is no copy anywhere else.
The website
If you enter your email address on wagerbreaker.com to hear about the launch, we store that address to send you launch email, and nothing else. We do not sell or share it. Reply to any message, or write to the address below, and we will delete it. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes ordinary server request logs on our behalf.
Children
Wagerbreaker is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Not clinical care
Wagerbreaker is a peer-support tool, not medical treatment and not advice from licensed professionals. If you are in crisis, call the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version always lives at this address.
